A how to guide to brew tea

There is no right or wrong way to make tea. However, there are four essential factors that should be considered when brewing tea:

Use fresh, cold, good-tasting water.
Preheat the teapot or cup before steeping your tea.
Choose the right water temperature according to the tea’s type (see table below.
Steep for the proper length of time according to the tea’s type (see table below)

Tea Water Temp. Steep Time
Oolong 80° – 100° 1-5 min
Black 100° 2-5 min
Green 82° 1-3 min
White 100° 3-8 min
Herbal 82°-100° 4-5 min
Pu-erh 82°-100° 3-5 min

Please note that these indications are approximate. Thus, you should experiment your own brewing combination to find the one that best suits your taste.
